my comment on Rick's editorial

Halting the Fence, absolutely nonsense

I completely disagree with Rick's editorial. In my view it is government’s responsibility to make a border and the financial crisis may not be the reason to stop it. This project is creating jobs to many people and the most important goal, will stop the illegal immigrants from Mexico who would otherwise migrate here, take jobs increasing the number of unemployment. On the other hand it will limit the state expense to illegal immigrants. State is spending billions for health care and education of illegal immigrants. http://www.diggersrealm.com/mt/archives/000942.html. If the immigration rate keeps going like these then we can imagine how much hassle will be. High number of immigrants, unemployment, high volume of budget for their education and health, high insecurity, and now how will we face all these challenges in financial crisis.
I disagree with you about damaging US-Mexico trade. Well certainly it will damage the illegal drugs trade, but I don’t think you are worried about it. As far as other legal business and trade we can make a dry port of entry. All legal trade can be performed through these specially secured ports. This fencing program is the most effective action to stop illegal immigrants by government.
